Role Description The Assistant Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manhattan, NY. The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting with the daily management and operations of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities include tenant communication, lease administration, coordinating property maintenance, managing vendor relationships, tracking budgets, and assisting with financial reporting. The role requires close collaboration with the Property Manager to ensure efficient operations and tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven abilities in tenant communication, conflict resolution, and customer service
Experience with lease administration and contract management
Proficiency in property management software, financial reporting, and budget tracking
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
Knowledge of property maintenance and vendor coordination processes
Familiarity with New York City property laws and compliance standards is a plus
Highly professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field is a plus
