Architectural Designer I

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Support & Concept Development: Assist in the development of architectural designs from conceptual sketches to early‑stage plans.

Support project teams in translating ideas into preliminary design solutions.

Create diagrams, mood boards, and 3D models to communicate design intent.

Contribute ideas during brainstorming and concept review sessions.

Documentation & Drafting: Produce accurate drawings and visualizations to support schematic and design development phases.

Assist with construction documentation, including plans, elevations, and sections.

Maintain version control and consistency across drawing sets.

Coordination & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and engineers under guidance of senior staff.

Participate in internal coordination meetings and assist with meeting documentation.

Support project organization and adherence to firm‑wide design standards.

Client Communication & Presentation Prep: Prepare design presentations, renderings, and other visual materials for client meetings.

Attend meetings with senior team members and assist with follow‑up tasks.

Help document client feedback and track revisions in alignment with project goals.

Site Research & Analysis: Conduct research on materials, codes, construction techniques, and sustainability options.

Support site analysis efforts by gathering contextual data and documenting field conditions.

Learning & Professional Development: Develop proficiency in K5s design tools and workflows.

Participate in training, mentorship sessions, and design reviews to build technical and creative skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.

02 years of professional experience.

Software Skills:

Revit primary production platform (required).

Bluebeam redlining and coordination (preferred).

AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite supporting tools.

Understanding of construction documents and basic design principles.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Detail‑oriented with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
