About the Role The Pricing Analyst will support the development and execution of pricing strategies for automotive aftermarket parts across customer segments and regions. This role focuses on advanced analytics, reporting, and execution of pricing initiatives that improve margin, competitiveness, and price discipline. Working closely with the Pricing Manager, Sales, Product, and Finance teams, this individual will translate data into actionable pricing insights, maintain pricing models and dashboards, and ensure accurate, timely pricing decisions across quoting, RFPs, and go-to-market initiatives.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who enjoys working with large datasets, building scalable tools, and developing a deep understanding of parts categories, channel economics, and customer behavior to drive measurable financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
Support execution of pricing strategy across customer channels, regions, and product categories
Analyze pricing performance and recommend actions to improve margin, competitiveness, and price realization
Build and maintain pricing analytics including competitive price gap analysis, quote/RFP win-rate analysis, contribution and pocket margin reporting, mix/shift analysis, and cost passthrough tracking
Use SQL to extract and combine data from ERP, WMS, e-commerce, quoting, and contract systems
Develop and maintain BI dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) for pricing performance, margin waterfalls, and exception monitoring
Maintain pricing matrices, cost-plus models, and discount structures with clear guardrails and approval thresholds
Support RFP pricing and quoting with standardized templates, models, and inputs
Monitor exception activity, and elevate risks and opportunities
Assist with price change execution, audits, and post-implementation reviews
Maintain pricing master data ensuring data quality and consistency
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to provide pricing guidance and analytical support
Document pricing processes, assumptions, and methodologies
Support ad-hoc pricing analyses and leadership reporting

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, data analytics, or related field
2–6 years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or similar role
Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, CTEs)
Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot)
Understanding of pricing concepts: margin, discounting, price realization, and competitive benchmarking
Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
