This position will be focused in industrial.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, maintain, and update financial pro-forma Excel & ARGUS models for individual assets and portfolios.
Evaluate property-level investment performance
Assist in the development of annual operating budgets, business plans, and reforecasts
Assist asset managers in the disposition process
Gather and evaluate economic and market data
Analyze potential leases and their financial impact on an investment
Assist asset managers throughout the life cycle of the leasing process
Assist in the preparation of investor reports
Work with various consultants including property managers, tax specialists, and brokers in the management of real estate
Perform portfolio sensitivities on property acquisition/disposition opportunities
Develop a working knowledge of leases, loan documents, partnership agreements, development agreements and other real estate investment related documents
Assist asset managers in review of monthly financial packages and construction draws
Assist asset managers in the quarterly business plan process
Master aspects of the business with the goal of taking complete ownership of specific processes while clearly communicating progress and obstacles.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical ability with a detailed focus approach
BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Real Estate, or other related field
Strong academic performance
Understanding of basic financial concepts used to evaluate investments including DCF, NPV, and cash flow modeling
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced work environment
Possesses overall intellectual curiosity regarding commercial real estate in an entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ARGUS
Prior experience in real estate, corporate finance, consulting, or investment banking is welcomed but not necessary
