Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and execution-driven leader to oversee and coordinate enterprise-wide technology initiatives across software development, AI, cybersecurity, ERP implementation, and IT operations.
The Director of Technology Programs will be responsible for driving execution, maintaining visibility across all major initiatives, and ensuring alignment between onshore and offshore technical teams. This role focuses on program governance, accountability, and delivery—ensuring that strategic initiatives are executed efficiently and on time.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple complex workstreams, and is comfortable working closely with executive leadership.
Responsibilities Program Execution & Governance
Oversee execution of enterprise technology initiatives across software, AI, ERP, cybersecurity, and IT
Establish and maintain structured program management frameworks
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities
Track milestones, dependencies, and risks across all active initiatives
Operating Cadence & Accountability
Lead weekly operating reviews across technology leadership (onshore and offshore)
Drive accountability for project owners and ensure timely follow-through on deliverables
Identify bottlenecks, resource constraints, and execution risks early
Maintain clear documentation of progress, decisions, and action items
Executive Reporting & Visibility
Develop and maintain executive dashboards for all major initiatives
Provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes
Prepare structured updates for executive meetings
Translate technical progress into business-relevant insights
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with engineering, IT, AI, cybersecurity, and product teams to ensure alignment
Support coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders
Ensure seamless communication across departments and time zones
Assist in prioritizing initiatives based on business impact
Process Standardization
Implement consistent project and program management methodologies across teams
Improve documentation, communication, and reporting standards
Establish best practices for tracking, escalation, and delivery
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
3–6 years experience in enterprise technology, consulting, or technology operations
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to coordinate complex initiatives
Preferred
Exposure to software development environments, ERP implementations, AI initiatives
Experience working with distributed teams (onshore & offshore)
Familiarity with AI or cloud infrastructure initiatives
Job Information Full Time: Monday - Friday
Location: On-site (Downers Grove, IL)
Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000
