Overview
The Lead Design Producer owns design and research delivery across DBX (Digital Business Banking experience) and DWX (Digital Wealth Experience), ensuring work is planned, governed, and delivered with clarity from intake through launch.
This role brings structure to a complex program, enabling designers and researchers to focus on craft while building stakeholder confidence through clear planning, communication, consultation, and governance.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end design and research intake, prioritization, and planning across DBX and DWX program
Lead design sprint planning, roadmap alignment, and milestone tracking across value streams
Track design capacity and coordinate work distribution to support balanced workloads and reliable delivery
Establish and maintain design delivery timelines aligned to program and PI milestones
Operate design change control processes, ensuring scope updates are reviewed, approved, and documented
Maintain traceability between approved designs, development work, and launch scope
Partner closely with product and engineering to assess scope changes, surface delivery risks, and support mitigation planning
Serve as the primary design and research point of contact for product, developers, vendors, and program stakeholders
Provide high‑level design consultation as needed to support usability, system alignment, and informed delivery decisions
Drive design and research prioritization decisions in partnership with product
Scope of Responsibilities As a Lead Design Producer, you support one or more large‑scale Design Programs with a focus on delivery execution, governance, and stakeholder confidence. You act as a connective layer between Design, UX Research, Product, and Engineering—driving predictability, quality, and alignment across long‑running initiatives, and providing design consultations as needed for product and development teams.
Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, or similar, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in design program management, design operations, UX production, or related roles or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 9 years education and/or relevant work experience.
Proven experience managing design delivery within complex, cross‑functional programs
Strong understanding of agile delivery, sprint planning, and roadmap coordination
Experience facilitating stakeholder alignment and presenting to leadership
Familiarity with design systems and governance models that support regulatory and risk considerations
Experience with product design and providing high‑level, rapid design consultation (including in Figma)
