District Sales Manager
Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the District Sales Manager directs, coordinates and supervises the sales activities of a defined territory with a selective distribution channel as well as end user markets and the local engineering community controlling specifications. Number of openings at each level is determined by Vice President of Sales. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with developing an adequate distribution network and coordinates related functions such as market research, promotion of brands, training of users, application engineering, distribution and service. Prepares reports for management regarding local activities and market influences. Recommends and assists with the development of sales policies and methods, advertising and promotional ideas, forecasts, quotas, budgets, etc. Supervisory Responsibilities

Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel frequently. Required
Demonstrated learning aptitude, selling experience and/or interpersonal relationship skills. Self-starter with demonstration of goal orientated internal drive. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Selling skills or sales training. Customer service experience and demonstrated ability to build relationships with new customers and sustain them through conflict or crucial conversations.
