Position We’re looking for a highly motivated and engaging Inside Sales Representative to join our Business Development team focusing on new business acquisition. This role will be hybrid across inbound and outbound activities. We see a significant opportunity for outbound activities targeting new logos and in the whitespace of existing accounts, to run alongside our existing, successful inbound and resale operations. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will also spend part of your time our Sales Live Chat, following up on warm inbound leads.

This is a global 360 sales role, with multiple prongs of potential revenue from exciting new products and industries, therefore offering scope for unlimited pipeline. As a result, you must be able to accurately book, manage and close prospective and existing customers. You will need to understand the pipeline being built inside and out and work closely with the Marketing and Channel teams to further enhance the quality of leads received.

This is a dynamic sales team working towards realistic sales targets with an uncapped commission structure.

Key responsibilities of this role will include;

Representing RealVNC’s products and services professionally and knowledgably

Researching accounts, identifying key players, generating interest and developing accounts to stimulate opportunities

Consistently hitting KPIs and targets.

Opening and closing a mix of small and mid‑sized opportunities.

Supporting Marketing and ABM campaigns and prospect into target Companies

Ensuring data is clean, accurate and up to date in the CRM

Actively building pipeline alongside marketing and the channel and ensuring high quality customer acquisition

Providing accurate sales forecasting

Staying aware of product updates and refining technical understanding

Building awareness on special projects or events

Developing new opportunities

Driving revenue expansion within existing customers

30% of your day maybe be spent on Sales Chat & remaining time will be spent following up on warm leads, outbound prospecting

Certain Chat sourced Leads/Transactions over a certain threshold (to be determined with your manager) maybe passed up to the wider AE team after qualification

Requirements You;

Have demonstratable software sales experience with proven success in closing deals within a SaaS environment.

Are able to analyse data to drive informed decision making and optimise sales performance.

Have a strong understanding of social selling strategies and digital proficiency.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Demonstrate strong active listening and interpersonal skills to enable you to build lasting client relationships.

Use your research skills to identify opportunities.

Use a consultative approach to selling, using your product knowledge to solve customer issues and demonstrate expertise with objection handling and negotiation.

Have a bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience.

As well as the above, if you have any of the desired experience below then we’d like to know about it!

Experience with remote management sales / RMM.

Have industry knowledge in our ICPs.
