Regional Sales Manager, Aftermarket Parts - Plastic Extruders

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Regional Sales Manager search.
The candidate must reside in the region. While this is a remote position, it will involve travel throughout the area.
East coast region:
Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire.
Responsibilities
Drive sales growth within the assigned territory
Identify new business development opportunities
Foster relationships with existing clients
Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs
Close new capital equipment sales of plastic processing machinery
Key Requirements
Technical experience with plastic extrusion equipment is required, which may include roles in field service, applications, sales, or business development.
The candidate must be willing to travel throughout the East Coast, with travel expectations ranging from 30% to 50%.
Excellent negotiation skills are essential for this position.
