Location: Must reside within territory in U.S., and near a major airport

Midwest Territory: primarily ND, IA, WI, IL, IN, MI & Canada (SK, MT, ON)

Field Sales Representative – Industrial Components Description Our client, a global manufacturing organization, is hiring a Field Sales Representative to support their Midwest territory. You’ll split time between maintaining and expanding existing wind energy accounts through on-site support, validation, and service cycles, and prospecting new industrial opportunities by entering manufacturing facilities, identifying applications, and validating product performance through technical discovery. The ideal candidate has at least two years of B2B sales experience and a strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn electro-mechanical products and engage in consultative, application-focused conversations with customers. You must be comfortable in remote wind farms and industrial plants, including climbing wind turbines for installation and product testing, working at heights, and operating in varying environmental conditions. Success requires strong customer-facing skills, adaptability across technical audiences, and the patience to manage long sales cycles. Field Sales Representative – Industrial Components Responsibilities

Engage with new and existing accounts to increase product sales and grow market presence

Manage long-term sales cycles (12-24 months) and product development projects

Engage maintenance teams, site leads, purchasing, and owner/operators

Travel to customer sites; run on-site discovery; gather photos, measurements, conditions

Educate customers on products available and provide products for testing and validation

Verify product performance with customers in operation

Communicate specification changes in conjunction with manufacturing and engineering teams

Drive deals from technical fit through close

Collaborate with management to develop a strategic sales plan

Present and participate in trade association events

Assess market trends and provide market intelligence on competitive activity

Field Sales Representative – Industrial Components Qualifications

2+ years of B2B sales experience required

Strong technical aptitude; ability to quickly learn electro-mechanical products and applications required

Willingness/ability to travel 50% (via car & plane) required

Valid passport or ability to obtain upon hire required

Must be willing to work/climb at heights (200+ foot ladders); paid safety training & certification after hire
