Inspectron markets its own brand of products within channels that are not covered by its OEM customers. This position is based in Wixom, Michigan (metro Detroit).
Position Functions
The Sales Manager is involved with a variety of activities from pre-sales support for prospects to the after-sales’ follow-up of Inspectron’s customer base. This entails building out a channel of distribution and direct selling. The candidate is also involved in the marketing activities of the company. The position is focused on the North American market but may require some involvement with the European and Asian activities of the company. Prospects and customers located in Europe will be managed in collaboration with the President of Inspectron Inc. and North American management. Support to Pre-Sales activities
Market Research– Assist in qualitative and quantitative market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights gathering. Lead Generation– Identifying and attracting potential customers through campaigns, events, or digital channels. Product Demonstrations– Showcasing features and benefits to potential customers or partners. Customer Needs Analysis– Engaging with prospects to understand their requirements and tailor solutions for them. Proposal Preparation– Creating customized presentations, quotes, or product bundles. Technical Support– Assisting with product specifications, compatibility, and setup queries, support the prospects during Proof - Of-Concept initiatives. Event Participation– Supporting trade shows, webinars, or product launches to generate interest. Internal Coordination– Working with product design, marketing , and logistics teams to align messaging and availability. Sales & after-sales
Coordinate with partners, retailers, and distributors to ensure product visibility and availability Managing sales cycle to close of sale Capture feedback from customers about product usage. Prepare sales reports, presentations, and marketing materials. Maintain CRM systems and track customer engagement metrics. Outbound outreach to target customers and in-person meetings Coordination/support of training at customers’ sites. Marketing support
Support the company in executing promotional campaigns and product launches. Manage social media content, email marketing, and digital advertising efforts IoT operational support
