Our Client, a respected consulting organization supporting enterprise technology initiatives across multiple industries, is seeking a highly experienced
BAAN 5 Functional Consultant
to play a critical role in supporting and optimizing a long-standing BAAN ERP environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned consultant who enjoys solving complex business challenges, partnering with stakeholders, and ensuring ERP systems operate smoothly and efficiently
This role places you at the center of key operational initiatives where your functional expertise in BAAN 5 will directly impact business performance, process improvement, and system reliability. If you are a hands‑on ERP expert who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys delivering practical solutions that make a real difference, this opportunity offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects while working in a flexible remote setting
Ideal background includes consultants with hands‑on experience supporting
BAAN 5 or Legacy BAAN environments
within manufacturing, supply chain, or complex ERP operations. Experience with
Infor LN or other modern ERP transitions
is highly valuable
Daily Responsibilities:
Providing functional expertise and support for BAAN 5 ERP systems
Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze operational requirements
Configuring BAAN modules to align with evolving business processes and system needs
Supporting system enhancements and resolving functional issues across the BAAN environment
Coordinating with technical teams to address integrations, customizations, and troubleshooting efforts
Assisting with system testing, documentation, and user enablement activities
Ensuring BAAN system functionality supports established workflows and operational best practices
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working with BAAN ERP with strong emphasis on BAAN 5
Deep functional understanding of BAAN modules and associated business processes
Experience working with cross functional business and technical teams
Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into effective functional solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently within a remote consulting environment
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Nice‑to‑Haves:
Experience supporting manufacturing or supply chain driven organizations
Background participating in ERP implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives
Familiarity with BAAN related integrations, reporting tools, or data processes
