JOB SUMMARY Under the direction and supervision of the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager, the Marketing Intern will perform a variety of tasks in support of the District’s marketing function. The Marketing Intern will work with the marketing team to promote community awareness of Park District services and programs through digital, social media and print. Duties may include:
Writing
Website management
Photography
Videography
Graphic design
Email campaigns
Survey creation
Other related tasks
The Marketing Intern will assist with activities at district events and promote FVPD at community-related functions. This is an at-will position.
QUALIFICATIONS Individuals must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and be currently working towards, or have recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communication, or related field. Individuals must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, understand basic marketing functions, and be able to provide excellent customer service. Individuals must possess a valid driver’s license.
Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in their major and an overall GPA of 2.3 at the time of application.
