Position Overview The Lead, Business Functions - Fixed Asset Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the PowerPlan application and its users, ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires a combination of technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as this position will liaise with key members of Property Accounting and Leadership. The role reports to the Director, Fixed Asset Lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize the PowerPlan application to enhance efficiency in the fixed asset lifecycle. Continuously monitor system performance to proactively identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring smooth operation and minimizing risks. Facilitate integration and compatibility between PowerPlan and SAP S4/Hana. Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of incidents to improve system reliability and operational performance. Respond to system alerts and take appropriate actions when necessary. Conduct regular system maintenance by reviewing error logs and coordinating training environments. Manage system outages and coordinate security reviews as needed. Promote a culture of safety and exemplify company values in all decisions and actions. Develop and deliver targeted training programs to empower users for effective use of the PowerPlan application. Create and maintain user-friendly documentation to facilitate a self-sufficient user experience and foster continuous learning. Analyze system data and performance metrics to derive insights for strategic decisions and operational efficiency improvements. Identify performance gaps and spearhead the development of targeted solutions aligned with organizational goals. Facilitate month-end coordination and execute PowerPlan closing tasks. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4-5 years of experience with PowerPlan Cloud application is essential. Experience with SAP S4 Hana PPM, PS, and/or CO is a plus. Strong understanding of fixed assets and depreciation accounting concepts. Knowledge of regulated utility accounting concepts: FERC, NARUC. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Willingness to adapt and pursue continuous learning opportunities. Able to work effectively under pressure and manage challenges. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with SQL. Compensation Information The salary range for this position in New York and California is $88,094 - $146,051 per year.
