Position Overview
The Residential Director serves as a strategic operational leader responsible for designing, implementing, and institutionalizing systems that strengthen oversight, performance management, and operational accountability across residential programs.
This is not a traditional operational role focused solely on maintaining existing systems. This position is a change-agent role, focused on building infrastructure that enables effective supervision of Residential Managers through standardized workflows, data-driven oversight, and clearly defined performance metrics.
The Director will work closely with the Quality Assurance team and executive leadership to develop scalable systems that improve consistency, identify operational risks, and strengthen management accountability.
Once systems and oversight structures are established, the Director will lead efforts to institutionalize best practices across the management team and support organizational realignment to sustain long‑term operational excellence.
Core Areas of Focus
Systems Design and Operational Infrastructure
Design and implement standardized workflows for Residential Manager oversight
Develop structured systems to monitor key operational, staffing, and compliance metrics
Establish red‑flag and escalation frameworks to identify operational risks early
Build sustainable infrastructure that supports consistent program oversight
Data-Driven Management Oversight
Identify and define key performance indicators related to staffing stability, compliance, service quality, and operational efficiency.
Partner with Quality Assurance to develop dashboards, tracking tools, and reporting systems.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
Leadership Development and Institutionalization of Best Practices.
Mentor and guide Residential Managers in strengthening supervision, accountability, and program leadership.
Standardize expectations for manager oversight, performance monitoring, and operational execution.
Lead implementation of best practices across the residential management structure.
Strategic Leadership and Change Management
Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership in strengthening residential infrastructure.
Drive organizational improvements through innovation, systems thinking, and operational redesign.
Function as a forward-thinking leader capable of identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
Support long‑term structural alignment of the residential leadership team.
