Position OverviewIf you are looking to make a difference in our youth and you're passionate about making a difference, we'd love to connect with you.The Bright Star Kids Academy Early Childhood Center Director manages center operations, focusing on staff leadership, program development (curriculum and activities), parent/community relations, managing facilities, creating and maintaining center budgets, and ensuring strict compliance with health safety, and state licensing regulations.Position Status & CompensationEmployment StatusFull-time, Exempt (Salaried) Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain 98% enrollment (101 capacity)Drive enrollment growth, lead generation strategies, tours, waitlist management and conversion performanceOversee daily operations including staff deployment, and resource allocationEnsure compliance with Bright from the Start (BFTS) licensing requirements and DECAL standardsManage CAPS (Childcare and Parent Services) program administration including eligibility verification, payment processing, and reportingOversee Georgia Pre-K program administration, curriculum compliance, and state reporting requirements (if applicable)Conduct site tours for prospective parentsManage food program operations including CACFP compliance, menu planning, vendor relationships, and nutritional standardsRecruit, onboard, and retain high-performing educators with focus on professional developmentMaintain parent communication channels and manage family engagement initiativesMonitor Playground billing systems for accuracy and complianceDesign and implement educational programs, ensuring they meet developmental needs and comply with state/local standardsEnsure facilities meet safety and cleanliness standardsPrepare and manage budgetsEnsure that students' cultural backgrounds are considered, recognized, and integrated into education program and trainingResolve conflicts including corrective action when needed to ensure a positive experience for everyoneEssential DutiesEnforce center policies for staff and familiesOversee and adhere to state and federal childcare regulationsScheduleMondayFriday during standard business hours (flexible hours as needed)May require occasional evening or weekend presence for community events, team meetings, facility issues, or emergenciesProfessional RequirementsMinimum Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related fieldExperience in childcare, administration or educationMaintain current knowledge of Georgia childcare regulationsStrong leadership, organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsWarm approachable demeanorPursue professional development in relevant areasMaintain professional demeanor, confidentiality, and ethics in all interactionsSupport organizational culture focused on quality, growth, and continuous improvementStrong oral and written communication skills, technology skillsStrong finance and budgeting skillsPhysical RequirementsSafely lift a child or children with total weight of 50 poundsConduct activities involving substantial standing, walking, and moderate sitting, kneeling, bending, crouching, and reaching on a frequent basisMust be able to kneel, bend, or stoop on the floor without assistance or supportPosition SummaryThis role is ideal for an experienced early childhood education operations leader who thrives in dynamic, growth-oriented environments and is passionate about building sustainable infrastructure that enables children, families, and staff to flourish. recblid 4i1aqdayid04444gu8b67inpyivo7z
