Job Overview We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Commercial Inside Sales professional to join our team in Fort Smith, AR, United States. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our commercial sales operation, developing deep expertise in our commercial equipment offerings while building strong relationships with customers and supporting our Account Managers. You’ll combine technical knowledge with consultative selling to drive growth, identify cost and energy-saving solutions, and expand our market presence in the commercial HVAC sector. Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive knowledge of our commercial product portfolio and become a trusted product specialist within your organization
Support internal and external customers with technical expertise, providing accurate quotes for commercial HVAC equipment and supplies
Analyze customer needs and recommend superior product selections with alternative solutions that deliver energy and cost savings
Conduct proactive outreach to assigned and non-assigned accounts to drive sales growth and increase profit margins
Manage order entry, shipment tracking, and post-sale support to ensure seamless customer experiences
Facilitate product returns and educate customers on warranty processes and procedures
Collaborate with the Commercial Value Engineer and Branch team to support job take-offs and technical assistance
Perform additional duties as directed to support team objectives
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of commercial HVAC technical knowledge and industry experience
5+ years of customer service experience with a proven track record of success
Demonstrated experience supporting sales teams and driving revenue growth
Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office software
Ability to travel less than 10% as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM software platforms (such as Salesforce)
Proven ability to prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skillsExperience in the design-build market channel or commercial construction industry
Positive human relations orientation and collaborative work style
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance goals
