About The Role The Procedural Specialist (PS) will be working closely with assigned Territory Managers, traveling extensively to provide in-servicing support, product demonstrations, and case support on the safe and effective use of the BD Endourology product portfolio. The role drives sales revenue in existing accounts to exceed division targets, defines and develops new business opportunities that reflect the company's goals, and contributes to overall team success. This is a developmental role designed to build strong clinical experience, develop selling skills, and lead qualified individuals to the position of Territory Manager. Procedural Specialists conduct business with integrity and in accordance with BD’s Code of Ethics, BD Way, and all applicable policies.

Key Responsibilities

Support the assigned Territory Manager to drive sales revenue by playing a supporting role covering cases, conducting product in-servicing, and product demonstrations.

Communicate new business opportunities and new product interest directly to the Territory Manager.

Build and maintain sustainable business relationships within supported accounts.

Coordinate with field sales to manage logistics, timing, strategy, and execution of customer evaluations.

Perform product demonstrations, customer education, and in-servicing as required.

Develop and maintain a level of excellence in clinical knowledge within relevant disease states.

Develop and maintain a level of excellence in territory management and selling skills.

Control expenses within budget and manage available resources according to BD guidelines and policies.

Maintain open, positive, and productive lines of communication with the sales team, customer service, sales management, and home office associates.

Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the BD Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

Complete required administrative duties on time and to the appropriate level of detail, including call reports, monthly results reports, expense reports, and additional items as assigned.

About You

Experience working in a team environment, preferably within a sales environment.

Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational, and planning skills.

Strong capacity to adapt quickly to a changing environment; excellent information gathering, analysis, problem‑solving, and independent thinking skills.

Good judgment and maturity.

Demonstrates a sound understanding of basic mathematical processes and can assimilate numerical information with little difficulty.

Ability to travel 80%, including overnight travel.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Driving records may be monitored annually or as needed.

Must possess and maintain a satisfactory criminal background. Criminal backgrounds may be monitored annually or as needed.

Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements, including regular or periodic drug screenings with a satisfactory result in accordance with customer/medical facility requirements.

Employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk, and hear. May occasionally lift objects of 10–25 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

This position works in a home office, hospital, HCP office, or clinical environment. The noise level is quiet to moderate. Frequent travel within a defined geography is required.

Education And Experience Required Bachelor’s degree required with 2 years of general sales experience preferred.

Salary ranges are implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, supporting recognition of associates’ progress. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for field‑based and remote roles.

$70,000 Base + $20,000 Annual Sales Incentive Target.
