We are seeking the right individual to fill a new role in our organization as a Home Service Advisor. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and customer‑centric professional, demonstrating the following characteristics: passion towards serving others; ability to leverage your best sales techniques; has a cheerful and helpful demeanor, even in challenging situations; and exudes the ability to adjust to customer needs.
This position will be responsible for delivering outstanding support to consumers as they set up various home services. In this role, you will provide personalized and proactive assistance to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience. You'll act as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate and select services that best meet their needs, including internet providers, home security systems, and more. This position will work full‑time in our Jackson, Michigan office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Optimize the customer experience by presenting tailored services to meet their home needs.
Maintain a working knowledge of APHW services.
Utilize consultative selling to find and close sales opportunities.
Provide consumers with excellent customer service.
Stay well-informed with market conditions and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong customer service and sales skills.
Self‑motivated professional with strong work ethic, integrity, and values.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone etiquette (using tone and voice inflection).
Excellent time and resource management skills.
Ability to project a professional and knowledgeable demeanor.
Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM use.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High school or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5+ years of inside B2C sales experience preferred
Prior home system/utility service‑related sales experience a plus
