Top NJ Law Firm in Newark, NJ is looking for a Graphic and Content Specialist.
Must have Law Firm or Corporate experience.
The Graphic and Content Specialist develops impactful, strategic and on-message marketing solutions to support the Firm’s marketing/business development efforts. This full-time position is located in Newark, New Jersey and reports to the Director of Marketing and Business Development. The Marketing and Business Development Manager will also provide training and guidance.
About the Role
The Graphic and Content Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing various marketing materials and ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels. Responsibilities
Designing and creating firmwide graphic design projects, including advertisements, charitable journal ads, social media graphics, professional announcements, marketing brochures, client alerts, invitations for events, holiday e-cards, and special logos, among others. Ability to learn/use Concep and other software tools to create and send the Firm’s digital communications. Implementing brand standards across all communication channels and ensuring consistent application of the Sills Cummis & Gross style guide. Creating marketing templates as needed. Overseeing photography for website, bios and other purposes, including taking headshots and photoshopping pictures. Maintaining and updating the Firm’s blogs. Maintaining backup of the Firm’s advertisements for attorney advertising purposes. Assisting with other marketing/business development activities, including posting content on the Firm’s social media pages, putting together marketing packages, updating biographies, adding information to the website, formatting the internal news report, assisting with InterAction (including training), creating PowerPoint presentations, assisting with case charts/schematics for attorneys, and other duties as needed. Assisting other Firm administrative departments. Assist with administrative duties when needed, such as processing charitable contribution paperwork, among others. Collaborate with the marketing team members and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, business, journalism or related discipline. At least 3 years of related experience in a law firm. Required Skills
Proven ability to use Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop to create high-quality deliverables. Superior aptitude for detail and accuracy while exhibiting a high degree of critical thinking. Excellent communication and client service skills. Strong work ethic. Must work well under pressure and be a self-starter, problem-solver, proactive thinker and team player. Diplomacy, tact and ability to maintain confidentiality are required. Preferred Skills

The base annual salary range for this role is $65,000 to $90,000.
