Summer Internship Our Summer Internship is designed for students leading into their final year of university, who want to gain real life work experience in a fast paced, exciting and professional environment.
As a Summer Intern, you will participate in onboarding with the UR team that will set you up for success in your role. You will also benefit from professional development sessions, networking, and social events provided by the Internship Program.
The program takes place from June – August 2026 (10-week program).
Your Role As a Campaign Marketing Intern, you will support the planning and execution of global marketing programs that drive prospect and customer engagement, sales signals, and pipeline. This role provides hands‑on experience in campaign marketing and cross‑functional coordination with product marketing, field marketing, execution teams, and agencies. You’ll learn how campaigns come together from strategy to execution, touching everything from messaging and segmentation to digital channels, analytics, and optimization. This internship is ideal for students interested in future roles in campaign marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, or broader go‑to‑market teams.
Key Responsibilities Campaign Support
Support development of targeted outreach campaigns tied to Veeam’s GoToMarket (GTM) framework
Assist with segmentation lists, project tracking, and campaign performance monitoring
Create promotional Bill of Materials (BOM) to drive engagement and pipeline for our GTM
Help ensure messaging aligns with global priorities and audience needs
Digital Marketing Channels
Work closely with Demand Gen execution teams to deliver campaign results, including email marketing, digital advertising, online events, and web
Shadow execution team meetings to dive deeper into the various execution arms of Demand Gen
Analytics & Insights
Conduct analysis on campaign and segment performance, diving into what is working, not working, and compiling recommendations
Propose A/B tests and optimizations to help improve performance
Analyze content and channel patterns and present to campaign leaders
Qualifications
Rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving pieces
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Interest in campaign marketing, digital marketing, or global marketing
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
