to join our team.

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented

1stDibs Sales & Platform Coordinator

to manage both client communication and administrative operations on the 1stDibs platform. This role involves responding to client inquiries, managing offers, and ensuring our listings remain accurate, active, and up to date. The ideal candidate has past experience with a furniture company, is highly organized, responsive, and comfortable managing both sales communication and backend listing maintenance within an e-commerce marketplace.

Responsibilities 1stDibs Client Communication

Respond to client inquiries through the 1stDibs platform in a timely and professional manner

Provide detailed information regarding product condition, dimensions, materials, and shipping logistics

Respond to, negotiate, and confirm client offers through the 1stDibs system

Assist clients throughout the purchasing process to ensure a smooth transaction

Maintain a professional and positive tone when addressing questions or concerns

1stDibs Listing & Platform Management

Upload and post

work-in-progress inventory

to the 1stDibs platform

Maintain and update existing listings as needed (pricing updates, condition notes, photos, descriptions, etc.)

Monitor listings to ensure accuracy and completeness

Assist in optimizing listings to improve visibility and sales performance

Coordinate internally with warehouse and operations teams to confirm inventory details and availability

Internal Coordination

Utilize Gmail and Slack to communicate with internal teams regarding inventory status, logistics, and client requests

Coordinate with the warehouse team to verify measurements, condition, and shipping information

Ensure timely follow‑up on all client and platform‑related activity

Qualifications

Experience in high‑end furniture sales and client communication

Strong written communication skills with a professional and client‑focused tone

Experience with

1stDibs or similar luxury resale platforms

is strongly preferred

Previous experience in e‑commerce, marketplace management, or luxury retail is a plus

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple listings and inquiries simultaneously

Comfortable using email, Slack, and internal systems for team coordination

Interest or familiarity with

vintage, antique, or collectible furniture and design

is a plus
