Position Summary Responsible for supervising the activities of the sales staff assigned to their district. Participates in the establishment of the region’s sales plan and is accountable for the sales and profitability and accounts receivable performance of their district. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. This position will oversee the Northwestern Arkansas & E. Oklahoma area (Ft. Smith, Alma, Van Buren and surrounding areas).

Position Responsibilities

Supervises associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution; develops and educates sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques and company policies by developing and conducting monthly sales meetings.

Attains targeted sales as determined by business goals; operates department and assigned personnel within budgetary guidelines.

Demonstrates awareness of customer needs and establishes policies and practices to effectively meet those needs; develops interpersonal relationships that encourage openness, candor and trust internally and externally; provides informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers/vendors and coworkers.

Participates in industry organization monthly meetings; develops and presents major account presentations; formulates and analyzes information on competition; attends industry shows and events.

Interacts with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensures customers and vendors’ questions are answered accurately and timely; manages customer complaints, issues and emergencies.

Establishes and monitors major account prospect lists; processes customer rebates and incentives.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience

4-6 years of foodservice sales and team lead or supervisory experience

Valid driver's license

Must reside in the area of position coverage (Northwestern Arkansas & E. Oklahoma area)

Compensation $85,000 - $100,000 annually, and 30% annual bonus potential.
