About the Role
TEGNA Florida is seeking an experienced, results-driven Account Executive to join our Florida Statewide Sales Team, representing WTSP (Tampa) and WTLV/WJXX (Jacksonville). This strategic role allows you to offer local broadcast, targeted digital video, and statewide OTT solutions through Premion—giving clients unmatched reach and performance across Florida. Consistently prospect for new revenue opportunities using client and category insights. Upsell current clients by engaging them in the full product line of WTLV/ WJXX-TV Jacksonville offerings. Create custom solutions-driven campaigns that meet client needs across multiple media platforms including broadcast, digital, and streaming (OTT). Seek opportunities to expand relationships with key clients by taking an active role in understanding their business needs and competitive landscape. Establish strong relationships with internal team members by providing the Account Management team with clear and concise direction for the successful execution of campaigns. Partner with your Account Manager to provide exceptional customer service and contract fulfillment. Strategically utilize Matrix and station CRM to manage day-to-day activity, pipeline, and forecasts. Positively and professionally represent the media group to the community at events and surrounding businesses. What You Need
1-3 years of account engagement in a professional, fast-paced media sales environment. Proven track record of successfully achieving or exceeding sales goals and developing new business opportunities as a seller. Established knowledge of marketing solutions including broadcasting and digital advertising. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, with ability to leverage technology to project manage workload and achieve goals. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, ability to write/edit compelling proposals. Creative mindset to develop unique campaigns focused on solving client needs and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Effective problem solver, able to quickly adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines. Strong business acumen, attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
