Description
As the Catering Sales Manager at DoubleTree Winston Salem with Superhost Hospitality, you will be responsible for leading all catering sales initiatives and driving business growth. You will manage the full catering process, from prospecting and booking events to coordinating with operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
Managing all catering sales, including events, weddings, social gatherings, and group functions
Prospecting, developing, and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
Creating customized catering proposals and contracts that meet client needs and maximize revenue
Collaborating with hotel operations and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution of all events
Staying informed of market trends and identifying new business opportunities
Attributes & Qualifications
Strong background in hotel sales and catering operations
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
Skilled at managing multiple events, timelines, and priorities simultaneously
Proactive and results-driven, focused on growing catering business and achieving sales goals
Additional Requirements
Previous experience in a hotel catering or sales management role is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as events require
In your first few months, you will learn the hotel’s catering offerings, target market, and client base. You will work closely with the leadership and operations teams to build a robust catering sales pipeline and execute successful events that drive revenue and build client loyalty.
