Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented
Escrow Officer
to manage residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from opening to closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to handle a high volume of files while delivering exceptional service to agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
Key Responsibilities
Open and manage escrow files from receipt of purchase agreement through closing
Review purchase agreements and closing instructions for completeness and compliance
Prepare escrow instructions, estimated closing statements, and settlement documents
Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, buyers, sellers, and title officers throughout the transaction
Order and review payoffs, HOA demands, tax information, and other closing requirements
Ensure all documents are properly executed and funds are balanced prior to closing
Facilitate signings and ensure a smooth closing experience for clients
Balance escrow files and disburse funds in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate file documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Provide outstanding customer service and proactive communication throughout the transaction
Qualifications
3+ years of escrow officer experience in a title or escrow company
Strong knowledge of real estate closing procedures and escrow processes
Familiarity with title and escrow software systems
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and client service skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple files simultaneously
High attention to detail and accuracy
Nevada escrow experience preferred
Preferred Skills
Existing relationships with local real estate agents and lenders
Experience with high-volume residential transactions
Knowledge of TRID and closing disclosure requirements
