Overview
The Home Loan Specialist I is an entrylevel role supporting various channels within the organization. This position plays a key role in facilitating efficient processes that align with business and customer service objectives. Responsibilities may be focused within a specific function/channel or span across multiple areas.
Responsibilities
Perform routine data entry and validation tasks
Initiate third‑party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood certification, credit, etc.)
Review and validate loan documents for accuracy and completeness
Handle routine calls, emails, and chat inquiries
Assign and distribute workloads as needed
Monitor work queues and intervene to resolve issues
Collaborate with multiple departments to expedite processing and issue resolution

Qualifications
Team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Proven ability to deliver timely and accurate information in a fast‑paced environment
Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, mathematical skills, and sound judgment
Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with computers and mainstream applications (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)
Financial services or mortgage industry experience preferred
General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
Additional Information
Candidates with little to no relevant experience will be considered – excellent opportunity for recent college graduates to begin their career with a reputable company
If no degree, candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant work experience
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorpark, CA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $23.00/hr.
