KAUZ Newschannel 6 is hiring a full-time Digital Content Producer to help drive day-to-day coverage across our digital platforms. This role is ideal for a strong writer/editor with sharp news judgment who thrives in a breaking-news environment.
What you’ll do
Publish and update content across all digital platforms
Aggregate and curate news content while producing original digital-first material
Update text, images, video, and live content quickly and accurately
What we’re looking for
Strong command of AP Style, grammar, and clean, accurate copy on deadline
Ability to edit the work of others and confidently self-publish
Solid news judgment with the ability to handle breaking news aggressively
Team-first mindset and strong communication skills
Comfort learning newsroom and publishing tools quickly
Experience with streaming video and video editing software is a plus
Availability to work a schedule that may include days, nights, and weekends
College degree or equivalent, relevant experience
Professional digital/social content experience and a firm grasp of SEO best practices
