About This Role:
This part‑time role is designed for students, recent graduates, or early‑career professionals who enjoy education and thrive on bringing events to life. As a Part‑Time Event Assistant, you will support Silicon Valley campus events—including academic competitions, workshops, and community outreach—while gaining hands‑on experience in logistics, registration, guest services, and on‑site operations. You will work alongside teaching and operations teams to assist with pre‑event planning, vendor/venue coordination, room setup, crowd flow, and post‑event wrap‑ups (feedback, reports, and content recaps). You may also contribute to marketing campaigns that grow attendance and elevate participant experience. No prior event experience is required; training, playbooks, and mentorship are provided.
Current Needs
Exam Proctor: responsible for setting up the classroom, checking students in.
Think’s Cup Event – Cupertino Campus (8 April 2026, 9 00 – 19 00 with one hour break; 11 April 2026, 9 00 – 19 00 with one hour break; 14 April 2026, 9 00 – 19 00 with one hour break)
Math Kangaroo Event – Los Altos Campus (19 March 2026, 10 30 – 20 00 with lunch provided)
Marketing Promotor (Tabling): 17 March 2026, 18 00 – 20 00
