DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as the technical authority for Salesforce, managing data migrations, integrations, and custom app development.
Design and develop scalable solutions using Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other technologies to further our mission.
Serve as a subject matter expert, advocating for best practices to improve system performance and integrity across projects.
Identify areas for optimizing Salesforce capabilities and automating processes to boost productivity.
Ensure a thorough change management process is adhered to during application development and implementation.
Design and implement Salesforce Communities and portals to enhance user engagement and collaboration.
Provide ongoing support for Salesforce operations, proactively addressing issues to uphold data accuracy and reliability.
Manage multiple Salesforce projects concurrently, aligning with organizational priorities and deadlines.
Encourage a culture of excellence by mentoring team members and promoting continuous improvement.
Explore and integrate new technologies to enhance Salesforce capabilities and overall functionality.
Document all code and configurations to comply with best practices and organizational standards.
Participate in training and meetings to maintain a thorough understanding of organizational goals and requirements.
Perform additional related tasks as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM, showcasing a strong grasp of Force.com development best practices.
Skilled in integrating data from various sources using tools like Data Loader to ensure effective presentation.
Experience in developing Salesforce Communities and Portals, along with expertise in custom object configurations.
Strong understanding of programming languages such as Apex and Java, and front-end technologies including HTML and CSS.
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in data quality management and adept at troubleshooting issues.
Strong documentation abilities and a commitment to knowledge sharing within the team.
Proven capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities to develop and propose actionable solutions.
Skilled at managing multiple projects while adapting to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.

EXPERIENCE Requirements A minimum of seven years of experience in Salesforce solutions development, including Sales and Service Cloud, Communities/Portals, and applications.
At least five years of hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and relevant web technologies.
Five years of experience in Salesforce integrations and data migrations utilizing Data Loader or similar tools.
Three years of experience working with software and hardware vendors.
Preferences Experience with implementing single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
Background in creating dashboards and reports for business intelligence analytics.
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector is a plus.
Knowledge of React and/or React Native programming frameworks is beneficial.
EDUCATION Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Preferences Master's degree in a relevant area.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE Requirements Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Certification is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Standard office setting with climate control; prolonged sitting may be necessary.
