Job Description
As a Lead Enterprise Architect specializing in Digital Assets, you will shape the technical landscape for blockchain integration within our organization. You will be instrumental in defining, designing, and governing a robust architecture that enables enterprise-grade blockchain products and platforms. Your responsibilities will encompass:
Designing and implementing scalable blockchain platform architectures that facilitate reusable components throughout the enterprise.
Ensuring the platform satisfies all non-functional requirements, including performance, resiliency, observability, maintainability, and security.
Maintaining architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and platform reference models.
Collaborating closely with teams in Technology, Digital, Data & AI, Operations, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure seamless execution of blockchain initiatives.
Employing a data-driven approach to prioritize delivering value to end users and internal business partners, continuously measuring and optimizing digital experiences.
Partnering with Technology Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to guarantee blockchain solutions align with regulatory expectations, security standards, and enterprise controls.
Evaluating various blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, smart contract frameworks, and interoperability options.
Providing architectural governance and technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.
Serving as a subject matter expert, educating stakeholders on blockchain capabilities, constraints, and architectural best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of progressive experience in architecture.
Experience with Agile Product Development and DevOps principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience collaborating with Technology Leaders.
Demonstrated ability to work well within and across teams.
Familiarity with architectural frameworks and methodologies.
Preferred Skills/Experience
7+ years of expertise in architecture, software engineering, platform design, or distributed systems, particularly in building blockchain-based or decentralized applications.
In-depth understanding of blockchain concepts such as smart contracts, consensus models, cryptography, interoperability protocols, and node infrastructure.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in regulated industries like financial services.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and leadership on key engineering concepts, driving alignment with modern technology principles.
Experience in establishing architectural patterns and reference architectures.
Preferred qualifications include expertise in blockchain platform capabilities, scalable and secure infrastructure design, knowledge of emerging protocols and Layer 2 solutions, and mentoring engineering teams in blockchain best practices.

This position offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, requiring in-office attendance for 3 or more days per week, while allowing flexibility for remote work on other days.
