The Analyst plays a critical role on the Structured Products team within GoodLeap’s broader Capital Markets organization. This role supports the execution of GoodLeap’s funding strategy and managing our solar and home improvement loans. This role will contribute to transaction execution, cash flow modeling, investor reporting and ongoing performance monitoring of outstanding transactions. This role requires strong base knowledge in securitizations and cashflow modeling, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders. In addition, this role requires sound judgement, independent problem‑solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic capital markets environment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Support third‑party issuance of asset‑backed securitizations including coordinating diligence materials, reviewing offering memorandums, preparing transaction presentations, and working with deal parties such as investment banks, rating agencies, accountants, trustees, and legal counsel.
Prepare, reconcile, and validate monthly investor reports and trustee reporting packages for outstanding securitization transactions, ensure accuracy and compliance with transaction documents.
Monitor collateral performance and analyze and communicate trends in credit, payments, delinquencies, and losses to internal stakeholders, assist in preparing performance summaries for investors and management.
Develop, maintain, and enhance dynamic cash flow models for new products, securitizations, and alternative financing structures, perform scenario analysis and stress testing.
Responsible for preparation and reconciliation of monthly reports for outstanding transactions.
Contribute to strategic capital markets initiatives, new funding structures, new product development, process improvements automation efforts and other cross‑functional projects as needed.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative field required.
2–4 years of relevant work experience (e.g. consumer finance, project finance, corporate strategy, strategy and operations, structured finance, asset‑backed finance, M&A, investment banking, or structured products focused on accounting).
Experience supporting products or asset‑backed securitizations, whole loan sales, various debt, and equity financing structures.
Proficient with MS Excel including VBA, PowerPoint, and highly skilled with other MS Office products including Word.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, transaction‑oriented environment.
Proficiency with SQL, Python or other data analysis tools a plus.
Ability to analyze large datasets and translate outputs into actionable insights.
Intellectual curiosity and passion for capital markets and/or renewable energy and home improvement financing.
Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 per year, plus bonus
