Job Summary The Regional Admissions Advisor – Jackson Campus serves as Baker College’s primary local representative for Jackson County, the western Michigan corridor, and select areas of Northwestern Ohio and Northeastern Indiana. As a key member of the Admissions and Recruitment team, this role supports system-wide enrollment while focusing on the growth and long-term vitality of the Jackson campus. The Advisor builds and maintains relationships with high schools, CTE centers, community colleges, adult education programs, employers, and community organizations, driving regional outreach, community engagement, and enrollment advising.
Responsibilities
Conduct outreach, host campus events, and provide tours.
Advise prospective students and families.
Support enrollment processes and connect the college to local workforce and community needs.
Monitor regional trends, track recruitment metrics, and collaborate with Admissions colleagues to develop strategies that advance Baker College’s mission and contribute to sustainable enrollment growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred).
One to three years of experience in higher education admissions, recruiting, community relations, or workforce engagement.
Familiarity with Jackson County, Southwestern Michigan, and the surrounding tri‑state region is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
