Job Responsibilities

Shape the future of health and care

- Work on projects that directly impact the business.

Own a project from start to finish

- Scope, define, and drive a product initiative from discovery to launch during your internship.

Conduct user and market research

- Interview customers, analyze usage data, and assess the competitive landscape.

Write product requirements

- Translate research findings into clear user stories, specs, or PRDs that engineering teams can build against.

Collaborate cross-functionally

- Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and marketing teams.

Analyze product metrics

- Evaluate feature performance, identify opportunities, and make evidence‑backed recommendations.

Present to leadership

- Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Contribute to roadmap planning

- Prioritize discussions and evaluate trade‑offs.

Learn directly from the experts

- You’ll have a formal mentor guiding you throughout the internship.

What we’re looking for Our Ideal Candidate is an emerging junior or senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or another technical field. They are a self‑starter, thrive in ambiguity, and take initiative to identify problems worth solving.

Passionate about healthcare and curious about improving delivery.

Communicates clearly and can distill complex ideas into crisp narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Comfortable working with data to frame problems, validate assumptions, and measure outcomes.

Collaborates effectively across functions and can influence without authority.

Brings intellectual curiosity and humility by asking great questions and treating every interaction as a chance to learn.

Wants to learn more about the product management discipline and can dedicate 40 hours a week for 12 weeks.

Competitive hourly rate (role dependent). We do not provide relocation assistance.

Total Rewards Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.
