In the role of Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will be responsible for introducing Shingo-based improvement methodologies at various LGC sites. This includes facilitating training and workshops on Lean systems, applying Daily Management Systems, A3/Root Cause Problem Solving, Leader Standard Work, and other methods customized to address specific issues. You will partner closely with leadership and frontline teams to ensure these methodologies are implemented seamlessly.
Responsibilities
Leading the deployment of Operational Excellence methodologies, driven by the Shingo Model
Training and coaching teams at various levels of the organization
Developing and optimizing Daily Management Systems, A3/Root Cause Problem Solving, Leader Standard Work, and other improvement systems
Collaborating with Operations Leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Guiding the next phase of the Operational Excellence deployment
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience in Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, and Lean methodologies
Extensive knowledge of Lean/TPS, Shingo, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and Total Productive Maintenance
Strong leadership and change management skills
Excellent coaching and training abilities
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional judgment and reliability
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and networking skills
Critical thinking and analytical abilities, with experience in reporting and tracking metrics
Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience in Process Improvement/Operational Excellence/Lean in a life science or biotech company
Additional Information The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: $98,600 USD
Maximum: $131,000 USD
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California-based position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.
