Genesis10 is currently seeking a Content Strategist for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is an 8+ month contract opportunity. Remote or onsite.
Pay range:
$31.68 - $33.00 per Hour
Summary: This role is part of the Field Function, which is responsible for delivering useful and actionable content to the company's sales force. The Content Strategist will support the implementation and maintenance of updates to the field intranet site, helping to create consistency and improve the user experience to help field members find information quickly.
Responsibilities:
Support cleanup and maintenance of field intranet content including copyediting, formatting, testing and updating links, updating document titles, and verifying accuracy
Implement requested content updates from business partners across the enterprise and efficiently manage a work queue with impeccable internal customer service
Facilitate content owner outreach and content updates in support of sitewide annual review
Review and copyedit content to create a clear, consistent, concise content experience for field and home office users
Support the development, maintenance and documentation of site content strategy
Support development of content creation and review processes to enable a cohesive content ecosystem
Requirements:
B.A. in journalism, communications, English, marketing, digital media or related field
2‑4 years of previous experience in UX writing and/or content strategy work in product, marketing or tech organizations, agencies, or freelance
Previous work experience in a large corporate environment is a plus
Strong writing skills and command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary)
Strong work ethic and ability to maintain high levels of output
Experience in UX and technical writing
Ability to adhere to brand voice, tone and style requirements
Natural curiosity and a knack for creative problem‑solving
Able to balance multiple projects; adaptable to ever‑changing priorities
Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment, help teammates and learn from them
Ability to collaborate, seek transparency and work independently to execute tasks
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
