We are searching for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who is passionate about the automotive industry, shop operations, and helping repair shops grow through technology. This role is ideal for someone with experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, or Service Director who is looking to leverage their industry knowledge in a fast-growing SaaS company serving the automotive repair industry.
In this position, you will prospect and engage automotive repair shop owners and service advisors through high-volume outbound outreach, identify operational challenges within their businesses, and schedule qualified product demonstrations for our sales team. You will use your firsthand experience working in the service lane to build credibility with shop owners, understand their day-to-day workflow, and uncover opportunities where modern shop management software can improve efficiency, customer communication, and profitability.
This role requires someone who is bilingual (English/Spanish) and comfortable speaking with shop owners and staff across the industry. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent outbound activity, documenting conversations in internal reporting systems, qualifying prospects, and generating new sales opportunities that contribute to the company’s growth.
The ideal candidate understands the automotive repair environment, communicates effectively with shop owners, and thrives in a high-activity sales role focused on creating new business opportunities. How You’re Measured:
Conduct high volume outbound prospecting via phone and email
Identify and engage independent automotive repair shops
Qualify prospects based on size, needs and readiness for software adoptions
Educate prospects on the value of modern management systems
Schedule 10+ qualified demos per week
Maintain accurate notes and pipeline updates in Hubspot
Follow up with prospects through structured outreach
What You’ll Do:
Make 60-80 outbound calls a day
Conduct High-volume outbound prospecting to independently owned automotive repair shops
Host multiple meaningful conversations with prospects
Qualify prospects and schedule product demos
Leverage your service advisor experience to understand shop work flow and operational pain points
Educate prospects on how technology can improve shop efficiency, communication, and profitability
Follow up with prospects through outreach
Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity and demo booking targets
What You’ll Need:
Experience in the automotive space /service writing
Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills
Comfort with High-volume outbound calling and prospecting
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Organized and detail oriented
Some experience using CRM tools, and reporting tools
Positive attitude, resilience and a desire to help shops grow
Self motivated and the ability to work in a fast paced SaaS sales environment
Strong understanding of repair orders, customer communication, and shop workflow
