Responsibilities What You’ll Do

V2X is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Pricing Analyst to drive data‑driven competitive pricing strategies that enhance our competitive position in the global market. This role will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitor pricing models, and customer demand to develop insights that inform pricing decisions. Working closely with product, finance, sales, business development and other teams, this analyst will leverage data analytics, benchmarking, and predictive modeling to optimize pricing structures and maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in competitive intelligence, pricing analysis, and market research, with expertise in data visualization and analytical tools. They will develop frameworks for pricing intelligence, monitor industry shifts, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. This role is perfect for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about using data to drive strategic pricing decisions and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and deliver competitive intelligence pricing analysis and estimates as directed and assigned by the Vice President of Competitive Intelligence

Employ and utilize ethical competitive intelligence sources and methods

Develop and deliver timely competitive intelligence pricing estimates to Competitive Intelligence Leads and internal competitive intelligence customers

Develop and deliver independent, accurate, confident and defensible competitive intelligence pricing estimates

Support the development of competitive assessments

Support the development of competitive solution architecture and basis of estimates.

Support the development and execution of competitive intelligence project plans.

Conduct independent research and analysis

Lead and effectively employ research and analysis resources, as assigned

Support the effective integration of competitive intelligence into V2X

Train, mentor and support assigned competitive intelligence assets

Meet or exceed individual performance targets and goals

Support the achievement of competitive intelligence team service level and performance targets

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

Education: One-year related experience may be substituted for each year of education, if degree is required.

Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or related field with 6 years of experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery

Master’s degree in science, engineering, or related field with 2 years’ experience in competitive intelligence leadership, management, methods, and delivery preferred

Experience in improving teams and organizational competitive position and ability to win

Comfort developing competitive intelligence pricing estimates and providing decision support leveraging incomplete information

Comfort analyzing, synthesizing and disseminating competitive intelligence estimates related to unfamiliar topics, questions and subjects

Experience independently analyzing, summarizing and communicating customer requirements including contract line items, statement of work, performance work statements, performance specifications, proposal instructions, evaluation methods/standards and all other solicitation supporting information

Experience independently identifying, assessing, mitigating and communicating gaps, risk and opportunity in customer solicitation requirements

Experience independently converting customer solicitation requirements into competitive pricing estimates

Experience in accurately identifying likely competitor pricing approaches to customer requirements

Experience in accurately assessing likely customer acceptable competitor pricing approaches

Experience independently converting competitive solution architectures, including competitor labor, materials and other cost basis of estimates, into accurate competitor pricing estimates

Experience in supporting the conversion of competitive pricing estimates into Competitor Assessments

Experience supporting Price to Win development

Experience in leading and managing ad hoc and real‑time competitive pricing development

Experience in US Federal market competitive pricing development and delivery

Experience in US Defense and US Civilian agency competitive pricing estimate development and delivery

Preferred Qualifications + + Track record of competitive pricing estimate accuracy

Experience supporting Competitive Assessment development

Experience in modeling competitive pricing in complex competitive environments

Experience with market pricing intelligence.

Experience developing market intelligence or strategic intelligence

Experience with US Federal market solicitation response, proposal development, estimating, pricing, business development, capture, sales or marketing

Experience in Foreign defense and aerospace competitive pricing development

Experience with Foreign Military Sales

Experience with classified competitive intelligence solution pricing development

Experience training competitive intelligence analyst

Experience developing training for competitive intelligence analyst

Experience with advanced competitive pricing estimate development analysis, methods and tools

Competitive Intelligence Certification through Graduate Certificate or Certified Coursework

Other Requirements:

United States Citizenship required

Ability to obtain a US DOD security clearance

Ability to travel – 5%

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

USD $80,000-$130,000

Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
