Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer

Responsibilities

Critique motion work with clarity - identifying gaps, upholding brand systems, and giving precise, actionable direction to internal or external partners

Maintain fidelity to our established motion system while adapting deliverables across formats, use cases, and audience types

Partner with copy and editorial leads to localize messaging and tailor content for specific markets, screen types, and customer needs

Own and manage the motion production pipeline - tracking deliverables, managing file structure, overseeing QC, and ensuring timely, on‑brand delivery

Present confidently to creative leads and stakeholders - clearly articulating the strategy, creative decisions, and technical rationale behind the work

Work in agile sprints - iterating quickly, responding to feedback with speed and thoughtfulness, and helping unblock production when needed

Balance output volume with quality - scaling systems efficiently without sacrificing clarity, cohesion, or craft

Requirements

Acute knowledge of tempo, sequencing, rhythm, and motion utility - especially in retail and attention‑based contexts

Fluency in spatial and digital animation techniques, with understanding of how motion affects decision‑making across environments

Strong command of After Effects (with plug‑ins/scripts), Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite with fluency in file handoff, production workflows, and file organization and storage.

Proficiency in motion template development through the Adobe Suite, as well as ability to translate and adapt motion systems for third‑party apps like Canva, Google, Keynote

Comfortable managing large motion asset libraries and QC workflows

Demonstrated experience leading motion production and managing animation output at scale, utilizing both custom content variants as well as templates and toolkits

Demonstrated experience in digital out‑of‑home, in‑store displays, signage, social templates

Demonstrated experience working within established brand motion systems, adapting style and tone for localized or personalized placements without losing the original heart of the system

Creative and technical fluency

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
