Product Marketing Strategist Overview The Content Marketing Team is seeking a

Product Marketing Strategist

to drive positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our investment product lineup. This role sits at the intersection of

investments, distribution, and marketing , translating product strategy into compelling, differentiated stories that drive advisor and institutional adoption. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of

asset management distribution channels and products ,

ETF expertise

and a proven ability to partner cross‑functionally with Product, Investments, Sales, and Compliance.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in‑office 4 days per week.

Location(s): Boston, MA, Milwaukee, WI, or Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities

Own the value proposition, positioning, and messaging for campaigns across key client segments (financial advisors, institutions, platforms, intermediaries) to develop clear, differentiated narratives.

Lead end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategies for new ETF launches, product enhancements, and repositioning initiatives. Drive cross‑functional alignment around objectives, audience insights, messaging, and launch execution plans.

Oversee the creation of high‑impact sales enablement tools including pitchbooks, factsheets, webpages, campaign pages, sales sheets, podcasts, and videos in partnership with distribution, creative and investment teams.

Collaborate closely with Distribution to identify field insights and incorporate feedback into messaging and materials.

Act as a strategic connector between Product, Investments, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Compliance.

Lead complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely execution.

Apply AI strategically throughout the product marketing lifecycle to increase speed to market and improve execution quality. Use AI tools to support messaging development, content drafting, workflow automation, and campaign optimization.

Lead complex, multistakeholder marketing initiatives from concept to execution. Ensure transparent communication, disciplined project management, and timely delivery across all workstreams.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

8-12+ years of experience in product marketing, investment marketing, or product strategy within asset management.

Experience launching new ETFs or repositioning existing strategies.

Strong understanding of capital markets and traditional/alternative investment strategies.

Strategic storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proven experience developing go‑to‑market strategies and sales enablement for investment products.

Apply AI thoughtfully across the product marketing lifecycle, from competitive analysis and messaging development to sales enablement and campaign optimization, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and brand integrity.

Ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, compelling client language.

Experience working in a highly regulated environment with legal and compliance partners.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting U.S. wealth, RIA, institutional, or platform distribution.

Preferred skill in writing long‑form content to make compelling case studies on investment products and their asset classes.

Deep client empathy and distribution mindset.

Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence without authority.

Detail‑oriented while able to think at a portfolio and firm‑wide level.

Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, growth‑oriented environment.

Series 7 or other relevant licenses preferred.

Compensation Base Pay Range: $125,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non‑annual incentive or sales plans).
