Overview

The Vaccine Customer Representative (VCR) supports customers by providing clinical information on our Company’s vaccines, as well as education and resources. They support customer operational and financial needs such as reimbursement information and contract adherence to help providers or systems increase immunization rates among appropriate patients and protect them from vaccine-preventable diseases. The VCR is the primary point of contact for a variety of customers within their assigned geography, including health care providers such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists, quality directors, immunization managers, and office managers. Within their geography there are diverse health care locations they call upon to execute their role, including clinics, health departments, integrated delivery systems, and hospitals. The VCR is a key member of the local Customer Team that collaborates with other field-based employees such as the Vaccine Key Customer Leader (VKCL), Vaccine Medical Affairs Leader (VMAL), Region Medical Director (RMD), and other extended team members. This is a field-based sales position responsible for covering the Bangor, Maine territory. Additional areas include but may not be limited to Augusta, Acadia, Lewiston, and Auburn, Maine. The ideal location to reside is within this territory. Travel varies based on the candidate’s location within the geography. Responsibilities

Engage in balanced product sales presentations with Health Care Providers and Health Care Business Professionals to align customer needs with the Company’s vaccine attributes in accordance with product labeling, CDC, and professional society recommendations. Provide Company Vaccine management updates on customer needs related to improving patient health outcomes, customer feedback, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals. Keep customers informed with key insights by self-studying company-provided scientific, product and marketplace information, attending product workshops and conferences, and reviewing the Company’s promotional materials. Use analytical skills and tools to engage customers in quarterly business reviews regarding their vaccine contracts to educate on maximizing contract performance across the Company portfolio. Assist customers with education to improve their organization’s immunization rates through adherence to quality-based programs using tools such as Vaccine IQ. Regularly monitor business performance against objectives using company-provided tools. Develop a territory-level business plan focused on improving immunization rates with assigned customers in accordance with Company policies, standards, and ethics. Maintain product knowledge and certification on the entire Company vaccine portfolio and knowledge of the CDC immunization schedule for pediatric and adult vaccines. Position Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of Sales experience or a minimum of a high school diploma with at least 6 years of equivalent experience in professional sales, marketing, military or healthcare/scientific fields (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices). Valid Driver’s license. Ability to travel within the territory to visit customers in-person, including overnight travel. Demonstrated ability to build trust with customers and demonstrate value in selling situations through high-quality interactions focused on products/solutions to improve health outcomes. Ability to segment customer populations and apply this information to focus on groups, allocate promotional resources, and drive execution of commercial plans. Ability to understand customer business climate, assess market potential, identify opportunities and risks in local markets, develop territory plans, and drive results. Ability to understand multiple interdependencies within an account and maximize performance through collaborative planning and long-term relationships. Ability to convey technical concepts accurately and clearly. Tenacity to drive and achieve strong measurable results and to overcome setbacks to meet objectives. A proactive approach to learning and applying new skills to support the business, and a willingness to use new technologies and data to analyze trends for business results. Preferred

Effective September 5, 2023, U.S. employees in office-based positions will follow a Hybrid model (three on-site days per week, with remote Fridays) unless business critical tasks require on-site presence. $106,200.00 - $167,200.00. The actual salary is based on factors including education, qualifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs. Benefits:
