
Specialty Development Executive

Labcorp is seeking a Specialty Development Executive to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL and surrounding areas!
Job Responsibilities
Sells laboratory testing services to professionals within the Genetics and Women's Healthcare space, including Geneticists, Obstetrician/Gynecologists (OB/GYNs), Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists (MFMs), Genetic Counselors, Pediatric Neurologists, Reproductive Endocrinologists (REs), Regional Reference Labs and Hospitals
Meets and exceeds sales goals and achieves maximum sales growth in assigned territory
Successfully build and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates
Cold calls and builds a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievement
Accurately forecasts and maintains a sales funnel of new opportunities in‑line with a 90‑day quota
Effectively manages travel logistics to maximize sales productivity
Collaborates, communicates and actively contributes to new business opportunities with LabCorp Clinical Sales counterparts
Collaborates closely with team members to retain current book of business
Attends local and national professional trade shows and events as requested
Effectively communicates value propositions to all targeted customers and prospects
Performs in‑services, training and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staff
Updates all relevant customer account information into CRM Data Management Systems (Salesforce)
Provides ongoing customer support, education on focus products and market updates for current customer base
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5 years’ experience or more in medical outside sales
3 years’ experience or more of selling directly to Physicians
1 year experience managing a book of business
Resides in West Palm Beach, FL or surrounding areas
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a science‑related curriculum
5 years’ experience or more in Women’s healthcare and relationships with hospital systems, Geneticists, Obstetrician/Gynecologists (OB/GYNs), Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialists (MFMs), Genetic Counselors and Pediatric Neurologists.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Previous laboratory or diagnostics sales experience
Medical device sales experience and business‑to‑business experience
Previous experience selling directly to Physicians
Proven success managing a book of business
Ability to collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to grow the business
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated track record of recent success and sales accomplishments
Strong consultative selling and closing skills
Ability to understand and articulate complex scientific literature and use extensive and complex clinical data as a key factor in the sales process
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point & Excel
Familiarity with Salesforce software and territory management
Position requires some overnight travel for client visits, sales events and trade shows

Pay Range: $95,000 – $125,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Variable Compensation (Sales Positions): The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
