We are seeking a creative, data-driven Digital Editor who will help expand our digital audience and elevate our online presence. This role blends editorial content strategy, social media leadership, and digital marketing analytics.
The Digital Editor will collaborate across Editorial, Sales, and Marketing teams to promote content and develop engaging digital initiatives across our website, social platforms, newsletters, and video channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop creative digital-first features and recurring franchises for web and social
Package print editorial content for optimal digital and social performance
Maintain and manage a cross-platform editorial and social content calendar
Post and optimize content daily on the website and across social platforms
Social Media & Video
Create and edit Instagram Reels, Stories, and short-form video
Conduct and edit video interviews for web and social distribution
Provide live social coverage of C&G events
Grow engagement across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
Monitor website traffic and audience growth using Google Analytics
Produce monthly performance reports for management
Track and report on digital advertising campaign metrics
Develop case studies of successful campaigns for the Sales team
Own and produce the weekly Editorial newsletter
Collaborate with Editorial, Sales, Marketing/Events, and dailyDeeds teams
Liaise with publicists and attend press previews and industry events
Participate in weekly Sales and Editorial strategy calls
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience producing digital content for web and social platforms
Experience in lifestyle, design, architecture, or luxury media preferred
Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and social growth strategies
Experience using Google Analytics and digital performance metrics
Knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools
Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
Strong HTML knowledge
Experience with WordPress, MailChimp, or similar CMS platforms
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
