Description We are looking for an experienced Content Creator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves creating compelling visual content for websites and editing/updating web content on WordPress, content writing, social media creation, and presentations while maintaining brand consistency. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, expertise in WordPress, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality graphics and layouts.

Responsibilities

Design and update engaging visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Format and publish content on WordPress, ensuring accessibility, proper metadata, and internal linking practices.

Develop short and long‑form content such as blog posts, landing pages, and case studies tailored to the energy sector.

Create social media graphics and captions, and schedule posts across designated channels.

Edit and enhance PowerPoint presentations to align with brand standards.

Optimize web content by refreshing imagery and graphics, including diagrams and icons.

Ensure all published materials meet brand guidelines, technical accuracy, and accessibility standards.

Proofread and review content for grammar, consistency, and compliance.

Repurpose web assets into snackable formats suitable for social media.

Manage routine website updates and ensure high attention to detail in all edits.

Requirements

2-5+ years of experience in graphic design and content creation, with a portfolio showcasing work in WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.

Proficiency in WordPress, including Gutenberg blocks or major page builders.

Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Canva experience is a plus.

Excellent writing and editing abilities to transform source copy into clear, on‑brand content.

Experience creating and optimizing social media content and graphics.

Strong attention to detail, including formatting, image optimization, and accessibility basics.

Ability to update and enhance PowerPoint presentations in line with branding guidelines.

Familiarity with metadata, link hygiene, and accessibility standards for web content.
