About Position:
We are seeking for User Experience Designer with hands on experience in Figma, Visual designing, prototyping, and Wire-framing. Role: User Experience Designer Location: Mountain View, CA Experience: 8 to 15 Years Job Type: Contract What You’ll Do:
Significantly contributes to team outcome metrics. Is a subject matter expert and works independently. Adjusts, explains, and ensures understanding of processes to team and outside the function. Deals with technical and sometimes complicated information exchange. Advises on non-routine complex problems that have an impact to the function. Expertise You’ll Bring:
Design craft Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of design principles, methods, tools, and approaches across all design crafts. Contributes new ideas to the overall design direction, while considering the role that their craft can play in the solution. Able to give feedback on other crafts. Uses industry-standard design software at an advanced level. Design systems Understands the operations of design systems within patterns and frameworks. Is accountable for reviewing project work for application of the design system. Suggests improvements to the application of the design system, especially as it applies to their craft. E2E thinking Looks at work in terms of an end-to-end flow or experience, and includes pre- and post-product or website experiences. Knowledge spans features and experiences and encompasses products. Understands the importance of platform mindset. Can deftly pivot based on VOC. Understands current industry trends, customer insights, and competitor activities. Executes competitor teardowns and synthesizes existing research from multiple teams. Grounds all design work in specific customer problems. Applies insights from inside and outside of customer in their design work. Checks in with researchers and leaders to ensure they’re applying findings correctly. Comfortable crafting non-leading interview scripts and user tests. Able to interpret metrics and make data-informed decisions. Data fluency Understands intricacies of data and collaborates with data partners to enhance user experience. Designs personalized experiences under given constraints, using data to enhance user satisfaction. Uses data to lead and guide small teams effectively in data-informed design strategies. Technical acumen Demonstrates skill in working with patterns and component configurations. Provides guidance to others, creating reusable, accessible designs with a focus on leveraging existing capabilities. Business knowledge Advocates for solutions with significant business impact. Can set success metrics for their craft. With manager support, can advocate a POV on prioritizing work based on impact. Strategic impact Understands where their craft can have the most impact for customers and the business. Proficiently applies design and systems thinking to team goals. Communication & partnership Confidently presents, supports, and defend ideas for self and team members. Presentations have a clear narrative and good context setting. Builds skills at leading meetings. Influences at the team level. Has a clear process for working with partners. Grows understanding of how PM, PD, Legal, Marketing, Customer Success, and other roles function as part of the whole.
