EF Educational Tours
Business Development Sales Co-Op
Hybrid: Monday through Thursday in office, option to work from home on Fridays
$22/hr | 40 hours per week
Start Date: Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026
EF Education First is excited to offer a Cooperative Education (co-op) program in partnership with a student's college or university, giving students the opportunity to align their academic and future career goals with full-time or part-time work experience for a select period of time.
EF offers a multitude of full-time, 6-month co-ops starting in January or July, across our travel, language, and education businesses in sales, customer service, operations, finance, and marketing.
The Role We're looking for a motivated, curious co-op to join our Business Development team, EF's "SWAT team" of senior sellers. This is a team that moves fast, thinks creatively, and is laser-focused on growing the business. You won't be fetching coffee. You'll be doing real, meaningful work that directly impacts how we reach families and support educators.
From day one, you'll be jumping into projects that stretch across sales, marketing, customer experience, and competitive strategy. And the best part? There's room to shape this role around your own interests and career goals, too.
What You'll Be Doing
Creative projects to grow the business: Collaborate with the BD team on campaigns, outreach strategies, and fresh ideas to drive new business
Parent outreach & conversion support: Call parents who recently attended trip interest meetings to offer support, answer questions, and help move them from "interested" to "enrolled"
Customer experience support: Help support families gearing up for an upcoming trip, making sure they feel informed and excited
Competitive landscape research: Dig into the travel industry to help us understand what's out there, what's working, and where we can stand out
Passion projects: Have a skill or interest that could benefit the team? We want to hear about it. This role has room to grow with you
Who You Are
A strong communicator who's comfortable picking up the phone and talking to parents
Naturally curious and energized by digging into research
Organized, proactive, and ready for a fast-paced environment
Not afraid to bring creative ideas to the table
Passionate about education, travel, or both
Excited to learn from a team of experienced sellers and soak up everything you can
What You'll Walk Away With
Real-world sales and business development experience
A deep understanding of the ed-travel industry
Confidence in outbound communication and customer engagement
A network of passionate, supportive people who will root for you long after your co-op ends
