
FP&A Marketing Budget Analyst

Job Description Insight Global is searching for a FP&A Marketing Budget Analyst for a national fast food conglomerate who has just celebrated their 75th anniversary. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for marketing spend, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and efficient resource allocation. The analyst will partner closely with Marketing, Finance, and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Must Haves
4+ years in FP&A, financial analysis, or marketing finance.
Experience with marketing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling with PowerBI tools
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Plusses
Experience supporting
multi-unit sales organizations .

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain quarterly and annual marketing budgets, support forecast cycles, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of budget submissions.
Monitor marketing expenditures, identify variances, and provide insights on ROI for campaigns, promotions, and sponsorships.
Conduct pre- and post-analysis for promotional activities and Limited Time Offers (LTOs).
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Marketing leadership and FP&A, and deliver ad hoc analyses on marketing performance, pricing, and customer behavior.
Support the development of dashboards and KPI tracking tools to drive data-informed decision-making.
Partner with Marketing teams on campaign planning and execution, and liaise with Supply Chain, Operations, and Data Science for integrated insights.
Assist in aligning marketing strategies with financial objectives and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Support the implementation of new tools and systems for financial analysis to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
