
Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Operations – Contract Work

We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Operations professional to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will help maintain the health, accuracy, and performance of our ecommerce ecosystem.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Website & Product Maintenance:
Conduct regular site audits to ensure accuracy and functionality Maintain rotation of seasonal homepage and collection assets Execute promotional price and theme switchovers Manage discounts and promotional setup Update PDPs with approved wishlist improvements Maintain proper image order and organization Update icons and badges Improve and maintain product taxonomy Ensure creative consistency across product pages Identify asset gaps and flag needs to creative team Lifecycle & Platform Execution:
Build and update Klaviyo forms and flows Implement lifecycle campaign updates using existing templates Maintain and update loyalty program (Yotpo) Review and respond to incoming product reviews, identify any problems or complaints, and notify the CS team when needed Ensure email templates remain functional and up to date Responsible for clean execution and not high‑level strategy Social Media Community & Creator Support
Working closely with the PlanetBox Social Media Manager, this role will support our Community content pillar by engaging with followers and creators across platforms, helping ensure our audience feels seen, supported, and connected to the brand. Reactive Community Management:
Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and tagged content across platforms Execute brand voice guidelines in comments and conversations Answer easy customer questions and escalate larger customer service issues Review and repost Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikToks featuring PlanetBox Respond to inbound creator and brand partnership request emails Proactive Engagement
Conduct social listening and share relevant trend insights and content opportunities. Source and coordinate UGC (parent roundups, testimonials) Support influencer nurturing through thoughtful engagement Assist with in‑kind gifting and surprise‑and‑delight initiatives Manage product seeding logistics (email coordination, affiliate setup, sample tracking) Affiliate and Paid Partnership Support
CJ Affiliate Program Proactively pitch influencers on Instagram and TikTok to become affiliate partners Review email and program applications from new potential partners and assist in on‑boarding steps Monitor daily performance and flag revenue, AOV, click declines or issues Email campaign info to our active partners Paid Partnerships Help coordinate samples and deliverables Content Support
Assist with filming simple recipe or educational videos Edit basic short‑form video content Create simple infographics using existing brand templates What Success Looks Like
The website is consistently accurate, updated, and organized Promotional switchovers happen smoothly and on time PDPs feel polished and current Lifecycle systems run without friction Community responses are timely and aligned with brand voice The digital and social leads feel significantly less operational strain EXPERIENCE
Qualifications Required:
2–4 years experience in ecommerce or digital marketing Hands‑on Shopify (or similar ecommerce platform) experience Experience with Klaviyo or another ESP Extremely detail‑oriented and process‑driven Comfortable managing recurring operational tasks Preferred:
Experience with Yotpo, loyalty programs, or reviews Community management experience for a DTC brand Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, etc.)
