Your passion for great creative knows no limits—copy, graphic design, video, photography, fashion, Instagram, typography—you’re interested in all of it. You like to dream big but know that great work is the result of planning and teamwork. You’ll be joining our wool& creative team which includes a Graphic Designer, Creative Producer/Stylist, and talented contract photographers. Additionally, you’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager, Community Manager, Marketing and Brand Partnerships Associate, and Design & Development team. Candidates will need to be local to Portland, OR as this is a hybrid position, working at least three days in our office. Responsibilities
Set creative direction, brand positioning, and messaging Lead and mentor the creative team fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment Manage creative workflows, timelines, and priorities across the team to keep projects moving and on track Oversee photography art direction and styling Create and oversee campaign strategy, including paid advertising creative Collaborate with Design & Development team especially during seasonal product concept Identify opportunities for growth Collaborate with your team on best in class organic social, product copy, emails, and content creation Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a creative role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position — ideally in fashion, DTC, or lifestyle brands A strong portfolio that demonstrates range across campaign strategy, art direction, copywriting, and digital content Proven ability to build and maintain a cohesive brand voice and visual identity across channels (web, email, social, paid) Experience art directing photo and video shoots, from concept through post-production Strong copywriting skills — you can write a compelling product description, a punchy subject line, and a brand manifesto Hands‑on comfort with design tools (namely Figma and Adobe Creative Suite) Experience working with tools such as Shopify, Dropbox, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, Asana Experience managing or mentoring a small creative team, including working with freelancers and contractors A genuine interest in fashion and natural materials — bonus if you already know why merino wool is the best fabric on earth Ability to balance big‑picture brand thinking with the day‑to‑day reality of executing across a lean team Strong organizational skills — you can manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders without letting things slip Growth Opportunities
