
Volunteer Photographer & Videographer (Nonprofit – Event & Program Coverage)

Team GUTS is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with special needs through fitness, confidence, and community. Through inclusive camps, fitness classes, and events, we help athletes build strength, independence, and lifelong friendships.
We’re looking for a creative volunteer photographer/videographer to help capture the incredible moments that happen throughout our programs and at our annual fundraising event.
The Opportunity This role will help visually tell the story of Team GUTS by capturing photos and video during select programs and our annual fundraising event in September.
We’re especially looking for someone who can create a short highlight video during the event using AI or templated editing tools.
This is a great opportunity for content creators, photographers, videographers, or students looking to build experience while supporting a meaningful cause.
Responsibilities
Capture photos and short video clips at our September fundraising event
Create a short highlight video on-site using AI or templated editing tools
Provide photos and video content for social media and nonprofit storytelling
(Preferred) Capture content at 3–5 program days throughout the year including camps or fitness classes
Equipment Requirements Volunteers should plan to bring and use their own equipment for this role.
This may include:
Camera or smartphone capable of high-quality photo/video
Laptop, tablet, or mobile device for quick video editing or AI-based editing tools during the event
(Optional) Lenses, stabilizers, microphones, or lighting (if preferred)
We welcome creators using professional gear or high‑quality mobile setups.
You might be a great fit if you:
Have experience with photography, videography, or content creation
Are comfortable using basic editing tools and AI video tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe, etc.)
Enjoy capturing authentic, candid moments
Care about inclusion, community, and empowering individuals with special needs
Students and emerging creatives are encouraged to apply.
Time Commitment
Optional 3–5 program days throughout the year
